"I love the thickness of them! They hug my feet just right and stay in place all day."

—Taken from a Skinnys review (below)

Skinnys Performance No-Shows:

  • Our most padded + secure no-show sock
  • "Hidden sneaker cut" for low-top shoes
  • 3x heel-wall thickness to fill air gaps
  • Orthotic-grade GripWrapTM side-wall silicone grips

These ultra-thick hidden sneaker-cut socks are designed to ease the rubbing, slipping, and heel blistering in the back of our feet, especially for narrow heels.

If you've got an air gap around your heel causing you to pop out of shoes, these socks—with extra-thick heel cushioning right where they're needed—will be just the trick.

The secret: a 3x-padded heel counter + GripWrapTM orthotic-grade silicone gel grips (twice the silicone in other brands) for the best shoe fit ever.

Skinnys Performance no-shows feature a hidden sneaker contour to stay hidden in most low-top shoes like athletic shoes or mens dress shoes.

(For an even more hidden style for use in loafers and slip-on shoes, check out our Skinnys Invisibles No-Show Liners.)

Wear these guys out walking, working, or dancing, and you'll forget you ever suffered heel rubbing before.

One (1) pair. Also see options for multipacks and other style cuts.

    How to Wear

You can wear Skinnys two ways:

    • Standalone:
As you would any other no-show socks, for an ankle-revealing style with sneakers and other low-top shoes
    • Under-layer:
Inside other socks—such as dress socks or hiking socks. The double layers (and orthotic-grade GripWrap™ side-wall silicone padding on the Skinnys under-layer sock) will transfer any rubbing away from your skin and onto the fabric-to-fabric contact points

    Features

    • Premium combed cotton extra-padded in the heels, designed for cushioned comfort and maximum durability (even after many washes)
    • Full ankle cuff to stay secure on your foot without slipping off
    • GripWrap™ orthotic-grade silicone gel grips that wraps around all heel sides to provide extra padding, and temporarily adhere sock to skin
    • Ribbed arch weaving to provide additional support in the midfoot for high arches
    • Great no-show look for laced Vans and low-top Chuck Taylors, and all sorts of tennis shoes, golf shoes, and skate shoes

    Sizing

Note: Skinnys will fit different foot-shapes differently. Our socks are cut slightly narrower in the heel than typical store-bought no-show socks. For people on the edge between sizes, if you have narrower feet, we recommend following the guidelines as listed. If you have wider feet, you might consider selecting the next larger size of Skinnys if your feet are within a half-size of the top of the guideline ranges.

    All sizes are US sizes:

    • Small: Womens 4 ‒ 6½
    • Medium: Mens 6 ‒ 8½ / Womens 7 ‒ 9½
    • Large: Mens 9 ‒ 11½ / Womens 10 ‒ 12½
    • Extra-Large: Mens 12 ‒ 14 / Womens 13+

Most so-called "padded socks" on the market usually provide too much thickness in the areas you don't need it (toe box and sole) and annoyingly underpad the outer heel walls.

A big secret: the only way to learn how a sock is structured is to turn it inside out.

What are “specialty socks” and why are they more expensive?

One question we're sometimes asked is why Skinnys cost what they do, when generic socks can be had for a few bucks a pair.

It really comes down to what it takes to produce Skinnys and the fact that they're manufactured in more limited quantities.

They're a little pricier, but you won't find this type of product anywhere else.

Why do shoes slip at the heel?

Simply put, most shoe manufacturers design their shoes for "average" heels, even though around 25% of us would benefit from a slimmer-designed heel cup.

For those of us in the narrower group, off-the-shelf shoes often have heel cups that just have too much space—too much air—leaving a gap between the shoe and our heel. For non-padded shoes (dress shoes, loafers, boat shoes, etc.), there's even less room for error. And so our shoes slip off our feet.

Will extra-thick no-show socks tighten my shoe fit?

Why are all no-show socks paper thin, and could they be used to make loose shoes fit a bit tighter?

For those of us who need a tighter shoe fit—because we blister in our heels or because our feet pop up or slip out of our shoes—thin socks simply won't cut it.

We need the most padded no-show socks we can find, especially in the heel area!
